Do I need to bring my own equipment?

All equipment and insurance cover is provided.

If you already own equipment, you should leave it at home. There will not be time during a session to check its condition and evaluate its suitability for use on the course.

What will I get out of the course?

The objective of the course is to provide you with a comprehensive introduction to modern archery.

Core topics include range safety, correct shooting technique, an introduction to the main types of modern archery, equipment choice, an overview of how the sport is organised in the UK and advice on finding the right archery club for you.

Who will be teaching the course?

Our instructors are experienced archers and coaches, many of whom have represented Sussex, England or Great Britain in competition. Course numbers do not normally exceed 12. The ratio of instructors to students is normally 1:4 and never more than 1:5.
