Brighton 2019 OUTDOOR Archery Beginners Course Schedule

Outdoor Season is fast approaching. The sun is rising earlier each day, and there is already a little warmth in the air. Indoor season still continues; the Southern BUCS Qualifier is this weekend with the final in Leeds next month and the Battle of Basing incorporating the SCAS Champs is happening this weekend too in Hampshire. A comprehensive list of tournaments can be found in our diary.

The initial Beginner Course schedule is outlined below. Courses do fill up quickly, so if you are interested in spending a weekend in a field, making new friends, having fun and learning how to shoot;don’t delay BOOK TODAY!

  • 27 & 28 Apr 19 (Maximum of 10 – 4 spaces left)
  • 25 & 26 May 19 (Maximum of 10 – 10 spaces left)
  • 29 & 30 Jun 19 (Maximum of 10 – 10 spaces left)
  • 27 & 28 Jul 19 (Maximum of 10 – 10 spaces left)
  • 31 Aug & 01 Sep 19 (Maximum of 10 – 10 spaces left)
Sun Rise at Brighton Bowmen Archery Tournament

Sessions will begin at 1000 and finish at around 1430. To successfully complete the course, participants need to complete both days.

The course is suitable for all ages from 10 years old.  Note that children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to each session by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult.

The venue will be on the small field at The Longhill Sports Centre, Falmer Road, Rottingdean, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2 7FR.

Insurance cover and good quality equipment are provided.  You are strongly advised not to purchase archery equipment before attending the course. Our courses cost £75 per person. For more information or to book a place, send an e-mail to membershipsec@brightonbowmen.org.uk
