Indoor Archery

Our indoor archery schedule for the period October 2014 through March 2015 is given below.

Venue

The Deans Leisure Centre, Longhill High School, Falmer Road, Rottingdean, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2 7FR.

Dates

Every Sunday, 5th October 2014 – 29th March 2015 inclusive.

Note: there is no shooting on the following Sundays: 30th November, 25th January and 22nd March.  Instead we will shoot on the Saturdays of the same weekends, i.e. 29th November, 24th January and 21st March.

Times

There are two sessions each Sunday.

Anyone can shoot both sessions, but they must be ready and willing to help with setting up and taking down the range.

Session 1, 12.00 pm – 2.10 pm

Please arrive at 12.00 pm to assist with setting up.  If you don’t help, you don’t shoot.

To minimise disruption to those shooting, anyone arriving after 12.10 pm cannot take part in this session.

Shooting in this session ends at 2.10 pm.

At the end of the session, if another archer wishes to use your target it can be left in the gym.  Otherwise it is your responsibility to return the target and its stand to the storage room.

Session 2, 2.20 pm – 4.30 pm

Please arrive at 2.00 pm to assist with setting up any additional targets that may be required.  If you don’t help, you don’t shoot.

Shooting must end at 4.15 pm sharp.

At the end of the session please assist with taking down the range and returning equipment to the storage room.

If  you have to leave before the end of the session, that’s fine – on the first occasion.  If, however, you decide to make a habit of leaving early, there will be words.
